Féodor at the Park

Féodor squinted at the sky.

"Mon Dieu. What is that light in the sky?"

"That's the sun." Hester said. "I understand the confusion. We don't see it often here."

Féodor lay on the grass, slowly photosynthesising.

"I have become one with the earth." he said.

"You're about to become one with heatstroke." Hester warned him.

Féodor sighed deeply. "That is the price we pay for sunshine."
